Established in 2004 by Harvard University students from Africa, YALDA has a robust history of empowering African youth. Currently, we are collaborating with the AfCFTA Secretariat, Afreximbank, UNECA, ITC, and UNDP to address information asymmetry on intra-Africa trade among Africa's youth entrepreneurs through our Umoja for Africa Campaign.
As part of this initiative and in collaboration with the aforementioned prestigious organizations, St Mary's University is selected for15-20 of your young entrepreneurs (aged 18-35) to attend the 8th YALDA biennial i-Boot Camp. Scheduled to take place from the 21st to 25th of February 2024 at the Africa Future Center, University of Pretoria, this intensive training program focuses on empowering participants in trade and entrepreneurship within the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
The i-Boot Camp also provides a unique opportunity for your young entrepreneurs to connect with industry professionals, gain valuable insights, and receive potential investment to grow their businesses across borders. They will also have the chance to pitch their business growth expansion plans for a $25,000 investment from YALDA.
