International Women’s Day was celebrated here at St. Mary’s on March 08, 2021 at the Undergraduate Campus Multipurpose Hall. Organized by the Gender Office and the Student Support and Services Office, in collaboration with Awach Saving and Credit Cooperative, the event was held under the international theme “Women in Leadership: Achieving an Equal Future in a Covid-19 World”.
On the Occasion, two women in executive position, from Awach Saving and Credit Cooperative, made remarks emphasizing women’s rights by alluding to their own experiences. The Student Union and Girls’Club were actively engaged in managing activities on the stage as master of ceremonies and DJs. Following are Pictures taken at the event.
